1881  Emil Schenker produced the first sun blinds in Schönenwerd, Solothurn

1920

 The machine department builds the first match production machine

1930

 Construction of machines for special screws

1937

 Founding of the Emil Schenker AG with a share capital of CHF 120,000.-

1941

 The first brush machine is built
1943  Building of milling machines for mechanical engineering companies

1944

 Construction of spiral drill grinding machines under licence

1953

 Discontinuation of the production of brush machines

 Machineprogram for manufacturing coiled springs taken over by STEWO

 About 200 employees. Continuous expansion of products and series

1964

 Production begins on the successful FA-6S of which 2,200 have been sold to date

1975

 Division of the Emil Schenker AG into SCHENKER STOREN AG and SCHENKER MASCHINEN AG

 as independent companies.

1984

 Introduction to CNC technology by co-operation with a Japanese company

1990

 Expansion into CNC technology in the field of spring winding machines

1994

 Winding and bending system 15 MX

1997

 Take-over of the activities of the SCHENKER MASCHINEN AG by BAMATEC AG 

 Company employs about 65 people

 Retention of machine program. Additional construction of tools and special machines for the spring industry.

 Continuous expansion of the standard machine range

1998  Multi-axis CNC spring winding machine 50 RUC

 Multi-axis CNC spring winding machine 8 C and 8 C Micro

 2-axis CNC conversion kit (retrofit) for Schenker 30 K

 Multi-axis machine 8 BCX as an introduction to the successor series of the proven C-machines

 Development and construction of the multi-axis machine 16 BCX
